Last year's record: 14-4 PAC-10, 16-5 overall.

Players to watch: George Kochu, Sr., SS; Justin Engelhardt, Sr., CF; Dan Willauer, Sr., 1B/P; Matt Murray (1-0, 2.05 ERA, 27.1 IP, 35 K), Jr., 1B/P; Eric Babbie, Sr., C.

Outlook: Wildcats were in the PAC-10 race until they lost their final game.... Six senior starters graduated, but many returnees played into mid-August on the Norchester American Legion team that finished second in the state. ... "We don't necessarily have a young team, but we're somewhat inexperienced," said Gilbert. "We're hoping that the run in the summer in Legion ball helped them with experience."
